Job Responsibilities- Conducts all expected tests and analytical procedures efficiently and accurately according to hospital procedures, performance standards, and competency standards.
- Participates in proficiency testing, adhering to federal and state regulations as well as hospital policies.
- Performs post-analytical activities including reporting results and providing technical and support information for all age groups.
- Provides resolution to customer service issues within guidelines and support education for clinical staff as appropriate or requested.
- Participates in laboratory and hospital performance improvement activities, including evaluating new equipment and procedures.
