Job DescriptionJob Description:
- Assists lead floor tech with daily production management including personnel, scheduling, and prioritization issues.
- Assists R&D engineers with repair diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Performs advanced surgical system or component trouble shooting and diagnostics.
- Maintains production area in a presentable and organized condition.
- Maintains production documentation.
- Contributes to quality improvement processes (data retrieval and trending reports).
- Assists and may lead ongoing Production related training to employees, customers, and technicians for future development.
- Experienced in all supplemental interfaces on surgical systems.
- Assists lead floor tech to ensure proper training and training guide lines, materials, and procedures are followed by production personnel on the production floor.
- Performs repair and NCR processing and tracking as necessary.
- Assists with the integration of new product lines onto the production floor.
- Assists with system questions, problems, and non-conforming product issues at time of system installations.
- Assists lead floor tech with reporting and critical metrics.
- Ability to seek and implement solutions to problems in a team environment and the ability to work with and support a variety of personalities.
- Mature, self-directed, professional with the ability to effectively establish priorities and manage a diverse workload.
- Ability to communicate effectively and employ a high level of diplomacy and tact both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates good team behaviors and a commitment to the Medtronic competencies.
- Travels to customer site to perform responsibilities when necessary.
- All activities must be performed in compliance with the Quality System.
- Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health, and safety-related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
REQUIRED:
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Proven technical and diagnostic skills.
- Proven organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Computer literacy.
- Experience in a production/manufacturing facility.
- Working relationship and successful communication with engineering.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
:
Two-year technical degree preferred.

1+ years of successful employment in a production/manufacturing facility.
