Position: Resident Care Manager (LPN/RN)

Resident Care Manager (LPN/RN)

The Resident Care Manager directs, coordinates, and supervises care services provided by care associates for the residents within the Assisted Living Department. The role is responsible for ensuring exemplary service is delivered with integrity, dignity, and compassion, coordinating medication control with physicians, and encouraging independence while ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well‑being.

  • Sunday–Thursday
Pay
  • $84,000–$88,000
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate assigned residents, regularly assessing changes in condition and notifying the Assistant Living Director as required.
  • Assist residents with simple requests or find an appropriate associate to assist.
  • Effectively supervise departmental operations under the guidance of the department director or Executive Director.
  • Respond promptly and tactfully to all residents, family members, and staff.
  • Supervise resident medication programs and monitor all physician orders, ensuring they are followed accurately and timely.
  • Assist with scheduling for care associates.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • High school graduate required; college coursework preferred.
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is preferred.
  • One to three years’ experience working in senior care.
Special Certifications / Requirements
  • Must have or be able to obtain the appropriate state license required by law.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Basic competency with multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office and internet-based systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
