- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot multiple instruments daily (liquid handlers, balances, etc.), including start-up and shut-down.
- Ensure devices have sufficient consumables for daily operations.
- Perform inventory checks, including sample intake, location, and checkout.
- Receive and manage routine and daily orders from the LIMS system.
- Weigh and prepare samples for storage and shipping.
- Share best practices and improvement opportunities.
- Document all laboratory duties clearly.
- Maintain a clean and safe lab space.
- BS in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field with 2-4 years of industry experience (preferably pharma, clinical research or medical laboratory).
- Sample management experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with liquid handling equipment, balances, basic lab processes, pipettes, and aseptic technique a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate issues promptly.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Works well both as a team member and independently.
- Demonstrates strong problem‑solving skills, learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and possesses leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and adaptability.
The position will close by 3/1/2026 or when a candidate is identified, whichever comes first.
