Software Engineer/Architect – Louisville, CO
Base pay range: $123,219 - $236,579 per year.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Research, design, development, test, and operationalize software architectures and applications for a variety of systems.
- Understand customer/operational requirements and implement new functionality into software products to meet them.
- Develop unit test software to exercise critical aspects of the system.
- Document and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences in a clear and effective manner.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SSBI and SCI access.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in DoD/IC.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem‑solving skills.
- Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of self‑initiative and self‑motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of Linux and associated development tools.
- Exceptional software architecture skills and the ability to realize/implement and operationalize that architecture.
- M.S. and/or Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Ten (10) years of experience in DoD/IC.
- Understanding of static and dynamic software analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with big data analytics systems, such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Experience with Orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and Rancher.
- Experience with micro‑service architectures such as Docker.
