Tax Professional – Franchise Location

Louisville, KY

Seasonal position supporting diverse tax needs at an experienced franchise location.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including tax notice services and audit representation for qualified certifications.
• Mentor and support teammates.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• At least 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience completing individual returns.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfort using virtual tools – video, phone, and chat.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Must meet all continuing education requirements and other IRS and state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent (or higher).
