Join to apply for the Staff Accountant role at Triple Crown Senior Living (TCSL), a management company for multiple assisted living facilities in the region.
Responsibilities- Reflect the Core Values and Core Focus of TCSL and embrace and utilize EOS
- Prepare and enter journal entries for various financial transactions
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Process AP invoices, ensuring proper coding and authorization
- Assist with AR functions, including invoicing, collections, and customer account management
- Work with construction team regarding pay application invoices and reimbursements
- Ad hoc work as requested by leadership
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Quick Books, SAP, Oracle) preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational, time‑management and computer skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Creative and strategic thinker who can innovate and adapt
- Work independently, maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and be a positive leader
- Demonstrate practical interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and good decision‑making skills
- Maintain good working relationships with residents and co‑workers
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
