Senior Accountant

Base Pay Range

$80,000.00/yr - $88,000.00/yr

• Perform and review month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, accruals, allocations, and account reconciliations
• Maintain property-level and entity-level general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance analyses and present findings to leadership
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and REIT standards
• Support REIT compliance testing and monitoring, including income and asset testing
• Partner with external auditors during interim and year-end audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries
• Assist in lease accounting analysis, including straight-line rent and tenant recoveries
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset activity, depreciation schedules, and capital project costs
• Support acquisition, disposition, and development accounting activities as needed
• Assist in internal controls documentation and adherence
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the accounting function
• Collaborate cross-functionally with asset management, FP&A, property management, and tax teams

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA or CPA‑track strongly preferred
• 3‑6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in real estate, REIT, public accounting, or financial services
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; familiar it
