Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk, Accounts Receivable/ Collections
Run Switch PR, Kentucky's largest public relations and public affairs agency, is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our business operations and help manage day-to-day accounting. This position will work closely with our Business Manager and leadership team and is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and proactive.
Key Responsibilities- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare client invoices and monitor outstanding receivables
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Track client, project, and reimbursable expenses
- Process employee expense reimbursements
- Maintain vendor records and assist with W-9s and 1099s
- Record and reconcile payroll activity
- Maintain an accurate general ledger
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Support cash flow tracking and reporting
- Identify discrepancies and help improve accounting processes and controls
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Solid understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Professional services, PR, marketing, or agency experience is a plus
- Primarily office environment in Louisville, KY
- Standard business hours, with flexibility for urgent deadlines
We're looking for someone who doesn't simply enter transactions but will help support our business operations and take ownership of the books, catches issues, asks questions, and ensures our financial information is accurate and up to date.
