Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Document Management Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing administrative support to the Quality Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and contribute to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update records, including quality control documents, processes, and procedures.
  • Work cross‑functionally with different groups in the organization to strengthen internal processes and procedures.
  • Work with our Quality Management System (QMS) team in coordinating procedure reviews, training, scheduling, and supporting internal/external quality audits.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of records, and identify discrepancies or errors.
  • Organize, file, store, and retrieve records in accordance with company policies and requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Quality Department, including maintaining spreadsheets, providing records training, and performing data entry.
  • Assist with daily functions including nonconformances, corrective actions, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with production staff to ensure accurate and timely documentation of manufacturing processes.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • BS Degree in a related field (e.g., business, administration, quality control) or equivalent education/experience.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience working in a defense contracting environment.
  • Knowledge of record‑keeping software and systems (e.g., document management systems).
  • 2+ years of office work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
  • Familiarity with quality control regulations and standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
Pay Information

Full‑Time Salary Range: $50,268 - $85,455.

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
