Join Jefferson County Public Schools as a Library Media Clerk. Start time: 8:40 am. This role supports the school media librarian in implementing an effective library media center program.
Job DescriptionSalary Schedule: 1A Grade 3 (attached)
Days/Hours: 187 days / 6.5 hours
Estimated New Hire Salary Range: $15.97 – $19.11
Scope of Responsibilities: Performs a variety of support functions that assist the school media librarian: routine circulation, resource maintenance, clerical functions, demonstration of effective oral and written communication skills, and use of digital tools.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Knowledge of standard library and office practices.
- Keyboarding skills and ability to operate a variety of office equipment, digital devices, programs, and applications.
- Ability to operate audiovisual equipment and computer software systems.
- Effective written, oral, and digital communication skills.
- Accurate completion of the experience section on the online application.
- Falsification of an employment application is grounds for exclusion from consideration and/or termination.
