Pay Range
$50,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Clerk / Administrative Support professional to join our team. This role supports daily accounting functions across a multi-client environment while also providing general administrative support to the office. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities- Verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approvals.
- Apply financial judgment when determining the appropriate paying entity or client.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Record and review credit card transactions.
- Generate periodic accounting and expense reports.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal staff.
- Sort, distribute, and scan incoming mail and packages.
- Assist with client concierge and front-office support services.
- Maintain office supplies and assist with general office organization.
- Provide administrative support to accounting and operations teams as needed.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with accounting software, credit card management platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable navigating a fluid environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
- Comfortable working in a small office setting.
