About the Role
The North American branch of Ottobock Healthcare is in search of a Market Fulfillment & Logistics Specialist to join the region’s logistics team in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for supporting the fulfillment of Ottobock product through coordination of demand planning, forecast modeling, and partner consignment programs to meet organizational goals. Serving as a business partner to North America Product Marketing, Global Inventory Management, and Customer Service Operations, the Market Fulfillment & Logistics Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring we are continuously optimizing to maintain optimal on‑shelf presence, meet market delivery requirements, and provide exceptional customer experience.

We are seeking a team member who is:
- Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with cross‑functional partners to achieve collective organizational goals.
- Skilled at developing accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical trends, market insights, and business drivers to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory alignment.
- Experienced in leveraging SAP (or similar ERP systems) to manage data, streamline processes, and support informed decision‑making across the supply chain.
- Adept at monitoring and optimizing inventory levels to balance customer demand with inventory efficiency, minimizing stock‑outs and excess inventory.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain operations, ensuring alignment across forecasting, production, and distribution functions.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain structure in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Meticulous in reviewing data, reports, and processes to ensure accuracy and reliability in planning and execution.
- Collaborating with partners in Product Marketing and Global Inventory Management to monitor forecasts and inventory strategies aimed at reducing stock outs and optimizing inventory levels.
- Review and interpret sales performance, stock levels, and other key data points to uncover patterns, assess risks, and identify opportunities for improved demand planning.
- Evaluate historical sales trends and seasonality to build a reliable foundation for future forecasting and inventory planning.
- Track promotions, production delays, market shifts, and other variables that could impact demand, proactively adjusting forecasts as needed.
- Collect and synthesize updates from distributors, sales teams, and other partners to ensure forecasts reflect the most current and relevant information.
- Coordinate the logistics component of partner consignment programs which includes monthly monitoring, quarterly onsite cycle counts and reporting of program metrics for quarterly business reviews.
- Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and global inventory teams to track inbound shipments and prioritize the timely unloading and distribution of high‑demand products.
- Provide proactive, timely internal communication on backorders, production challenges, and supply constraints to ensure alignment and minimize disruption.
