Commercial Construction Superintendent (GCCM) – Louisville, KY, United States of America – $80,000.00 - $

Kelley Construction is a multi-faceted commercial and industrial general contractor licensed to perform work in many states across the United States. We offer a wealth of technical expertise in all areas of commercial construction including restaurants, medical facilities, warehousing, fast food chains, large design-build expansions and general office renovation. We also have broad experience in industrial construction, from liquid storage and containment and petroleum related construction to pre‑engineered metal buildings and concrete construction.

• Maintain responsible construction schedule and budget.
• Maintain a safe jobsite for all Kelley Construction and subcontractor employees.
• Represent the company as best‑in‑class in job meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors and inspectors.
• Effectively use different computer software to complete daily tasks such as expense approval for receipts, pictures, email, site management, time entry, etc.
• Communicate with Kelley Construction office and project manager regarding jobsite requirements to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule.
• Communicate and coordinate with owner/client vendors when needed.
• All other duties assigned by Field Operations Director.

• 5 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent is strongly desired.
• Ability to effectively communicate professionally with all personnel, clients, customers, and architects.
• Strong managerial skills.
• Experience in concrete, framing and finish carpentry.
• Familiarity with computers and ability to use company software.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Team player.
• Ensuring that safety practices are followed on the job site.
• Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret instructions.

Ability to lift and carry up to 90 lbs. Must climb and work from heights. Individual must work in inclement weather conditions and around wood dust and fumes.
