Description:
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, in conjunction with the Norton Children’s Medical Group, has an opening for a full‑time 1.0 FTE Pediatric Ophthalmologist. The department is located in the Kentucky Lions Eye Center and the pediatric eye clinic is located in the Novak Center, both on the campus of the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center.
Applicants must have graduated from an accredited ophthalmology residency program, be Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology or an equivalent board, and be eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky. The successful candidate should be fellowship‑trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology and have a strong commitment to clinical care and teaching in an academic setting.
