Math Instructor (Part-Time) – St. Matthews

We are hiring a Math Instructor in St. Matthews who is passionate, friendly, and enthusiastic about helping kids succeed.

As a Math Instructor , you will work directly with students in a welcoming learning center, providing one-to-one and small-group instruction. This role includes supporting students in upper-level math , helping them gain confidence and mastery in Algebra 2 and Geometry.

This role is ideal for anyone interested in a teacher , tutor, or professional math instructor position.

• Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group instruction as a Math Instructor
• Teach and support students in Algebra 2 and Geometry
• Create a welcoming, motivating, and productive learning environment
• Build confidence, problem-solving skills, and independence in students
• Track and communicate student progress with Center Managers and team members
• Follow Mathnasium’s teaching and instructional methods
• Support daily center operations and teamwork
• Collaborate with fellow instructors, teachers, and leadership

• Comfortable with math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry
• Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality
• Ability to connect with both students and parents
• Experience working with children is preferred but not required
• Interest in an instructor, tutor, or teacher-style role
• Reliable availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts

This is a part-time Math Instructor position with flexible hours.
Most shifts are scheduled in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends .
We are looking for long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us throughout the school year.
