Estimated New Hire Annual Salary Range: $48,479.56 - $99,924.76
- As per board approved salary placement rules*
Plans, organizes and delivers the program of instruction based on approved curriculum; monitors, evaluates, and communicates student progress; maintains records and makes reports; enforces Board policies, regulations, and rules; supervises students, and secures and maintains school property and materials.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Kentucky Certification and endorsements appropriate to the technical program assignment.
- Successful and appropriate occupational experiences and academic preparation approved and required by the Board and Kentucky Administrative Regulations
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in a diverse workplace.
- Applicant must be a US Citizen with a high school diploma or GED.
- Four (4) years of successful and appropriate occupational experience in the teaching area. A maximum of one (1) year of the required work experience may be satisfied by completion of an accredited occupational preparation program for the occupation to be taught; and,
- At least two (2) years of the occupational experience completed within the last five (5) years.
- Hold a professional teaching certification for the appropriate course code as listed under (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./Index

- Meet Occupation-based teaching requirements (see attached Occ Based CTE Requirements and Hiring Procedures document)

Issuance of one year Provisional Certificate; completion of three (3) semester hours of credit in the occupational area OR successfully completing the New Teacher Institute (NTI)
