CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of consulting engineering experience. This candidate will lead design and oversee electrical systems for energy‑efficient buildings and complex infrastructure projects.

• Lead and guide internal and external design and construction projects.
• Provide guidance, support, mentorship, and leadership to staff engineers.
• Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Professionally stamp drawings, prepare affidavits, etc.
• Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors; lead meetings.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Confer with other engineers and personnel to meet project deadlines.
• Apply knowledge of engineering principles and research to design and evaluate products, equipment, systems, and processes.
• Design and specify system components to ensure conformance with project goals.
• Research and analyze client design requirements, manuals, and data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance.
• Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc.) to determine conformance with contract documents.

• 8+ years of experience with MEP design.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with internal and external project management.
• Experience in MEP design and specifications.
• Experience managing, maintaining, and creating owner and architect relationships.
• Experience with Healthcare, Higher Education, K‑12, and Commercial market sectors.
• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD.
