About the Role

CFW is expanding our design team and seeks candidates for a Mechanical / Piping Designer position.

• Gathers field data and takes measurements to support project design
• Develops Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
• Interprets equipment and piping specifications
• Develops layout of process equipment using 3D modeling and scanning technologies
• Generates Equipment Arrangement plan and elevation drawings
• Generates piping drawings from the P & I Diagrams
• Prepares plan and elevation piping drawings and isometric piping drawings
• Prepares design drawings for structural supports for specialty equipment

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Design Technology

• Excellent level skills in Auto Desk AutoCAD software (3-5 years of experience preferred)
• Intermediate level skills in 3D piping design software
• Good oral and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Auto Desk Plant 3D software
• Familiarity with Navisworks
