About the Role
CFW is expanding our design team and seeks candidates for a Mechanical / Piping Designer position.
Responsibilities- Gathers field data and takes measurements to support project design
- Develops Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
- Interprets equipment and piping specifications
- Develops layout of process equipment using 3D modeling and scanning technologies
- Generates Equipment Arrangement plan and elevation drawings
- Generates piping drawings from the P & I Diagrams
- Prepares plan and elevation piping drawings and isometric piping drawings
- Prepares design drawings for structural supports for specialty equipment
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Design Technology
- Excellent level skills in Auto Desk AutoCAD software (3-5 years of experience preferred)
- Intermediate level skills in 3D piping design software
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Auto Desk Plant 3D software
- Familiarity with Navisworks
