GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist 2 to work with the Power Generation Business Sector on primarily power generation projects and when needed other regional projects. GAI Consultants, Inc. offers its employees the ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setting. The successful candidate will be working out of the Louisville, KY office and will perform both design and monitoring tasks under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical area. 2+ years of experience.
- Acquires fundamental knowledge and develops skills in a specific practice area through mentored experience.
- Applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment.
- Understands and complies with ethical codes. Performs basic design tasks.
- Assists on tasks such as field activities, material testing, CADD work, permit applications, and report writing.
- Responsible for personal task management and adherence to deadlines and scope. No managerial responsibilities at this level.
- Receives close supervision on most aspects of assignments, particularly on difficult problems, and a general review of all aspects of work. Attains mentored experience from a licensed engineer.

- Driver’s License
