Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Technician for a 2-year W2 contract position with a client in Louisville, Kentucky
.

Rate Range: $25.00/hour to $26.00/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Understanding of EMI Lab test equipment and instrumentation (coupling/decoupling networks, signal generators, surge generators, power meters and antenna). Able to troubleshoot test setup, confirm required accuracy is met and knowledgeable of routine validation steps.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Attention to detail and time management skills to multitask to meet schedule.
- Electrical and Computer Applications Experience.
- An understanding of how various appliance platforms and models operate and fail is preferred. Knowledgeable on how to perform hi‑pot and current leakage on multiple product lines.
- Minimum 1 year experience in appliance testing with emphasis on safety, energy and EMI testing.
- Associates Degree in a technical field or Military Equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in energy or EMI testing.
