Electrical Engineering Technician
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical controls on company machinery. You will assist or lead control retrofit projects and provide phone support for remote locations. Your role will also involve the fabrication and wiring of electrical control panels.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls on company machinery.
- Assist or lead control retrofit projects.
- Provide phone support for remote locations.
- Fabricate and wire electrical control panels.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and simple mechanical schematics.
- Good mechanical aptitude and logical approach to problem‑solving.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Use of common hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches/socket wrenches, wire cutting and crimping tools, corded and cordless drills/drivers, metal cutting tools (band saw, jig saw, friction saw), files and grinders.
- Experience in electrical control panel fabrication and wiring is preferred.
- Field service/on‑site troubleshooting and repair experience is required.
- PLC, HMI, and VFD programming and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- A degree in an industrial controls‑related field is a plus but not required with commensurate experience.
- CAD (Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical) skills are a plus but not required.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
