What You Will DoAs a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead projects end‑to‑end, champion innovation, and uphold excellence in safety, quality, and on‑time delivery.
Responsibilities- Apply advanced geotechnical engineering principles to assess foundation performance, slope stability, and settlement, while recommending effective ground modification or improvement strategies.
- Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and project partners to ensure alignment and progress, while coaching and supporting junior engineers and contributing to S&ME’s continued growth.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive engineering reports, develop well‑structured project proposals, and participate in marketing and client relationship‑building efforts.
- Lead by example by upholding company policies and best practices, with a strong emphasis on safety, risk management, project delivery, and quality control.
You bring a strong technical foundation in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design, along with proven experience managing projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who values safety, quality, and efficiency, and is comfortable solving complex subsurface challenges with practical, innovative solutions.
Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Mining, or a related engineering field. - Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the A/E/C industry. - Certifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one. - Key
Competencies:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
