We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the entire product development cycle, from initial concept through to production and beyond. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our team, utilizing their skills in Solidworks, 3D modeling, engineering drawings, product development, project management, machine design, and design for manufacturing.

With over 5 years of experience in the field, the candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and contribute towards the growth and success of our company.

• Develop, design, and test mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD software (Solid Works)
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand product requirements and develop innovative design solutions
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct design reviews and make recommendations for improvements
• Apply knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to optimize product design for ease of manufacturing, cost efficiency, and quality
• Perform complex mechanical analyses to validate designs
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve design‑related issues
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards to ensure designs are innovative and competitive

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Solid Works and other 3D CAD software
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
• Experience in machine design and product development
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
• Self‑motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to occasionally travel as required for project needs
