Control Engineer Specialist; LAP

Position: Control Engineer Specialist (LAP)
As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. You'll have... High School Diploma or GED 2 or more years of Controls Engineering experience (internship and coop experience will be considered)
Even better, you may have...Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls or Automation Engineering Electrical background (electrician or technician) preferred

Familiar with PLC/CNC (Siemens/ Allen-Bradley), VFD, Servo, Profinet, ABB and FANUC Robots Solid understanding of laser burning

Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, modify electrical schematics and use AutoCADValidated ability to troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate for process improvements

Experience with conveyor system programming and overhead Gantry Solid understanding of networking to include DH+, Ethernet and remote IOLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience

Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping experience

Understanding of 8D, FMEA, and DMAIC processes

Familiar with TQM and Kaizen methods

One or more years of experience with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
Knowledge of simulation modeling and visual factory management preferred
