Job SummaryThe Cage & Player Services Cashier is responsible for the redemption of Gaming Tickets/Vouchers, performing check cashing/cash advance transactions for guests and assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Responsible for all cash transactions with guests and answering guest questions in a courteous and professional manner.
- Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift.
- Verifying and documenting personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.
- Completing multiple transaction logs in accordance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the property’s BSA Policy.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, as defined by the BSA and the property’s BSA Policy.
- Responsible for guest relations including new player sign up and working knowledge of company marketing campaigns.
- Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests.
Skills and Abilities
- Maintaining a professional working relationship among all internal and external guests.
- Maintaining an accurate cash drawer.
- Willingness to work flexible hours according to business and department needs.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Six months of cashiering or banking experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
