Position SummaryThe Director of Finance will oversee the company's financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting functions. This hands‑on leadership role will ensure financial integrity, improve processes, and provide actionable insights to guide decision‑making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in both strategic and operational finance, and a proven ability to collaborate across departments in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Provide financial leadership and guidance to support strategic business initiatives and growth plans.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and drive profitability.
- Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Partner with operations and executive leadership to identify cost efficiencies, monitor KPIs, and optimize performance.
- Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and dashboards for management and key stakeholders.
- Support and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and cash flow forecasting.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Lead or support system improvements, automation, and financial process optimization initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate financial management best practices.
- Proven ability to develop financial strategies, analyze complex data, and communicate insights effectively.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools a plus.
