This role will report directly to the President/CEO in a family‑owned company that is poised to double its revenue within the next two years. - Executive Growth:
The successful candidate is on a trajectory to become the VP or CFO within 4-5 years. - Impact and Autonomy:
You will be the central financial leader, driving discipline, clarity, and forward‑thinking strategies that directly fuel the company’s transformation and expansion. - Strategic & Hands‑On Balance:
Manage one direct report while remaining engaged in the tactical work of financial operations.
This is an in‑office role where collaboration is key. Expertise with ERP systems is essential (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, Epicor, Job Boss, etc.) as you will be responsible for transforming and optimizing these financial systems to support growth.
What You Will Do- Direct all accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, Payroll, fixed assets) and oversee timely and accurate month/year‑end close processes.
- Prepare and review GAAP‑compliant financial statements and develop key internal management reports and KPIs for the leadership team.
- Provide in‑depth analysis of manufacturing cost data, production variances, and inventory valuations.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial planning processes.
- Ensure rigorous internal controls are maintained to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, and full regulatory compliance.
- Oversee cash flow and treasury management, including working capital optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership/Controller capacity.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with payroll processing is desired.
- CPA license is preferred, but not required.
