** Internal Audit Associate (Financial/Operations)**, you'll gain exposure and develop your expertise across a broad range of banking operations while collaborating with experienced professionals, building meaningful client relationships, and making an immediate impact.
** As a Risk Advisory Internal Audit Associate (Financial/Operations), you will:
*** Work alongside a collaborative team to execute internal audit and risk advisory engagements for financial institution clients
* Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls across financial, operational, and regulatory functions
* Perform risk assessments and reviews to identify opportunities for improved controls, efficiency, and compliance
* Monitor engagement progress, helping ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering valuable insights and exceptional service
* Support audits and advisory projects across areas such as:  + Lending  + Deposits  + Asset Liability Management (ALM), Interest Rate Risk (IRR), and Liquidity  + Investments and Borrowings  + Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL)  + Accounting and Financial Reporting  + Trust Operations  + Regulatory Compliance  + FDICIA and SOX
** What You Bring to the Role:
*** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline
* Progress toward or completion of a relevant professional certification including CIA, CFSA, CBA, CPA, or CFE
* One or more years of experience in professional services, internal audit, banking, or credit union environments
* Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations
* Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
* Ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and client-focused environment
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business technologies
* Willingness to travel to client sites as needed, not expected to exceed 25%
