Home of the Innocents is seeking a compassionate LPN, Resident Enrichment Nurseto provide hands-on care and support to medically complex residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and joy during enrichment activities on and off campus.
A Day in the LifeIn this role, you’ll support residents during outings, swimming, special events, and other enrichment activities. You’ll monitor health needs, manage medications and feeding tubes, and partner with interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents remain safe, comfortable, and engaged.
Schedule
20+ hours/week. Flexible days, evenings, and weekends included
How This Position Contributes to Our MissionDeliver direct nursing care during enrichment opportunities on and off campus
Support trach/vent management and other specialized medical needs
Collaborate with families, residents, and team members to create enriching experiences
Document care thoroughly and maintain compliance with regulations
What We’re Looking ForAt least 1 year of healthcare experience; pediatrics preferred
Vent/trach management experience strongly preferred
Willingness to participate in enrichment activities, including swimming with residents
Current CPR/BLS certification (we provide if needed)
Ability to adapt to dynamic care environments with professionalism and empathy
