Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist

Responsibilities

The Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for independently performing, interpreting and correlating clinical laboratory tests to assist physician diagnosis and treatment. This role performs testing according to policies and procedures and provides clinical laboratory testing expertise. The Sr Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for workflow and quality of laboratory testing; provides expertise to include problem solving and troubleshooting.

Required:

• Three years in a clinical laboratory setting
• Bachelor Degree
• One of:
  Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Cytotechnologist (CT), Histotechnologist (HTL), or Specialist in Cytometry (SCYM)

Desired:

• Five years in a clinical laboratory setting
