Position
Description:
The Laboratory of Dr. Zhao‑Hui (Joe) Song the School of Medicine at the University of Louisville has a temporary part‑time research assistant position at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. This position will assist in pharmacological experiments studying the mechanisms of actions and potential therapeutic effects of cannabidiol (CBD) and other cannabinoids.
- Assistant will assist in ordering lab supplies and maintain lab operations.
- Assist in experiments using both cell culture and animal models, assist in collecting data and perform routine data analysis under the supervision of principal investigator.
- Assist in search of scientific literature and prepare manuscripts for publications.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as psychology and neuroscience.
- Work Ethic – motivated, diligent, industrious and persistent in the workplace, stays on tasks to completion.
- Organized – manages time effectively, keeps tasks appropriately prioritized.
- Teamwork – ability to work with others.
Compensation Will Be Commensurate To Candidate Experience.
