Hours: Full Time. Our offices are open Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm. Some earlier/later hours may be needed.

Travel: Travel to other offices as needed; mileage reimbursement provided.

Training Provided: Medical/eye care experience highly preferred.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Favorable Background Check
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow
Essential Functions
  • Facilitate patient flow
  • Assist the doctor in preliminary testing
  • Verify medical and vision insurances
  • Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and managers
  • Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
Qualifications
  • Desire to gain industry knowledge and training

  • Willingness to work over 40 hours as needed

Education and/or Experience
  • Minimum:
    High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum:
    One year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
Licenses and Credentials
  • COA or COT certification preferred but not required
Systems and Technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), standing (50%); bending, stooping, reaching (25–50%)
  • Lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 lbs
  • Fine motor skills; reading/writing/typing; use of technology
  • Visual and auditory acuity, color and depth perception; focus adjustment
  • Occasional driving or climbing may be necessary
