We are hiring a Radiologic Technologist at UofL Hospital, working from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM. This position is based at University Hospital - UMC, located at 530 South Jackson Street, Louisville, KY 40202.

Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations following established protocols.
- Ensure accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques.
- Maintain radiation safety standards.
- Assist radiologists with complex imaging procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast media per hospital policies and regulations.
- Gather relevant patient information, verify identities, and assess patient needs.
- Educate patients pre- and post-examination.
- Produce high-quality images suitable for interpretation.
- Use proper radiation safety practices, including shielding and pregnancy screening.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training.
- Maintain proficiency with hospital and radiology equipment.
- Instruct Radiologic Technology students.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain necessary credentials and certifications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a JRC-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT registered.
- KY Radiation Operator certification (KBMIRT).
- BLS certification.
- One year of general radiography experience preferred but not required.
