We are hiring an Inpatient Physical Therapist at South Hospital - UMC. This PRN position involves evaluating and treating patients referred to the facility, developing and implementing treatment plans, and contributing to discharge planning. • Evaluate patients and implement therapy treatments, with re-assessments to modify treatment plans for optimal patient independence, following practice guidelines and policies.
• Communicate patient status, evaluation results, treatment plans, and goals effectively to physicians and patients.
• Maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Provide cost-effective treatment options considering financial implications.
• Ensure documentation and charges comply with standards and policies.
• Oversee rehab technicians, therapy assistants, and students in accordance with practice acts and policies.
• Monitor workflow to ensure productivity and compliance, and participate in program development and community events.
