Responsibilities
The Supervisor, Neurodiagnostics is responsible for planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating and managing the department of Neurodiagnostics to ensure that quality services are provided according to established policies and procedures. This position is accountable for the accomplishments of results and the achievement of objectives consistent with the organization's mission, vision, values, and strategic plans. The Supervisor, Neurodiagnostics provides patient care (i.e. preparation of the patient, conducting EEG examinations, and collection of information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests), and must maintain proficiency in the skill of neurodiagnostic practice and procedures.
The Supervisor, Neurodiagnostics is responsible for rotating call with other techs.
Required:
- Three (3) years of experience in neurodiagnostics, of which one (1) year of experience must be in EEG for epilepsy.
- Registered Electroencephalogram Technician (EEG)
Desired:
- One year leadership in a healthcare setting. One year of experience in routine Pediatric EEG for epilepsy. One year of experience in routine Pediatric LTM EEG.
