Recovery Support Tech Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Recovery Support Technician is responsible for transporting program participants to and from various locations as needed, including court, doctor’s appointments, program activities, treatment, and any other services deemed appropriate by staff. The Technician may also be asked to cover duties inside the Recovery Community Center, including helping to set up for events and monitoring day‑to‑day operations if needed. The primary responsibility is transporting and providing safe and secure rides for all participants.
The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, good driving record, a minimum of 1 year of sobriety, and the ability to pass a background check and driver record check.
- Drive participants to and from meetings, groups, and appointments as needed.
- Maintain operational control of the facility in the absence of senior staff.
- Ensure client’s compliance with Volunteers of America policies and rules.
- Monitor clients in van and facility and their behavior.
- Complete required documentation.
- Attend training and supervision.
- Observe and report maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Provide transportation for clients.
- Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by supervision & PQI Committee.
