Role Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and recruiting support to the Human Resources team and the team’s internal and external clients. The Coordinator assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, monitors relevant metrics, generates reports, electronically files documents, and performs other administrative duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assists with employee recruitment, including application and/or resume review.
  • Maintains confidential and electronic files, logs, and records.
  • Assists with employee onboarding.
  • Provides process and administrative support for employment, payroll, and benefits enrollment functions.
  • Assists with maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment transactions and activities.
  • Provides day-to-day operational support and project support to the Human Resources Department.
  • Generates, maintains, and distributes reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • At least 1 year human resources experience, preferably in a recruiting capacity.
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Successful ability to take initiative, adapt, prioritize and multi-task when faced with changing priorities or competing demands within a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal, client service skills, analytical, problem-solving and judgement skills.
  • Successful ability to work independently and within a team.
Work Environment

Office environment with typical office equipment and a minimal noise level.
