ACE is looking to hire a talent partner that is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing long-term relationships with qualified 1099 construction professionals supporting federal and commercial construction projects. Rather than placing candidates and moving on, this role owns a bench of trusted professionals, supporting them throughout their lifecycle with ACE Consulting.
This role blends recruiting, relationship management, and people leadership — serving as the primary point of contact for 1099 talent as long as they choose to work with ACE.
Key Responsibilities- Talent Acquisition & Bench Building
- Source, vet, and qualify 1099 construction professionals across relevant disciplines
- Build and maintain a bench of ready, trusted talent aligned to ACE’s project needs
- Ensure talent meets project, compliance, and client requirements
- Partner with project leadership to anticipate workforce needs
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned 1099 professionals
- Maintain regular check-ins, communication, and engagement
- Support talent through project transitions, gaps, or redeployments
- Foster loyalty and long-term partnership with ACE Consulting
- Ensure 1099 personnel feel supported, informed, and valued
- Act as a trusted advocate between talent and ACE project teams
- Address concerns proactively to retain top performers on the ACE bench
Reinforce ACE’s culture, expectations, and values with external talent
- Work closely with operations, project managers, and leadership
- Align talent availability with project schedules and client demands
- Maintain accurate records of bench availability, skills, and performance
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for 1099 personnel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Construction industry knowledge is a plus
