The IT Supervisor supports all technology operations for Westport Axle’s Louisville facility, ensuring system reliability, security, and efficiency across production, logistics, and office environments. This role provides hands-on technical leadership, supervises local IT support, and coordinates with Universal’s corporate IT team to align systems and standards.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead daily IT operations, provide technical guidance, and oversee local IT staff and vendors.
* Maintain network, server, and end-user systems to ensure uptime and security compliance.
* Manage user access, helpdesk requests, and technology assets across the site.
* Support production floor technology, ERP connectivity, and data accuracy initiatives.
* Execute local IT projects, upgrades, and process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection policies.
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3–5 years of IT experience; 1+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
* Experience in manufacturing or logistics environments preferred.
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
