Sr AWS Cloud Architect

Role: AWS CLOUD ARCHITECT - Louisville, KY (Onsite Role) - 6+ Months.

The Cloud Architect is responsible for architecture and design of cloud native and hybrid cloud applications. Guides small teams of software engineers and architects using agile methodology, focus on continuous delivery and SE craftsmanship. Provides mentoring and coaching as well as acting as a role model for junior application architects and software engineering staff.

• Two or more years of experience architecting applications for execution in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud
• Two or more years of experience architecting systems using cloud based big data technologies including AWS EMR, AWS Kinesis, Sqoop, Spark, Hive, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
• Agile and Lean evangelist and influencer; experienced in transitioning from legacy IT to product-oriented, customer-focused, and cross-functional organizations
• Expert architect with experience creating architecture and design for high-volume, low-latency, and cloud-native 12-factor applications in AWS/Azure
• Experience with application delivery through Dev Sec Ops  and agile development processes leveraging CI/CD pipelines
• Experience applying cloud access security brokers (CASBs), common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, SAML, etc.)
