The Opportunity
A nationally recognized healthcare services organization is accelerating several mission-critical technology initiatives and needs an IT Project Coordinator to keep work streams running smoothly. In this visible role, you will partner with senior IT leaders, launch high-impact projects, and help drive innovation that improves patient and caregiver experiences across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day coordination for multiple medium-sized IT projects, tracking scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
- Schedule, lead, and document meetings, capturing actionable minutes and publishing clear agendas and status updates.
- Maintain consolidated project dashboards in Microsoft Project (or similar) and the Microsoft 365 suite, surfacing roadblocks early and recommending course corrections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, from engineers to executives, to gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress.
- Support change-management activities, ensuring new systems and processes land smoothly with end users.
- Champion project governance best practices, continuously refining templates, workflows, and reporting standards to boost team efficiency.
- Assist in closing up to five large projects by year-end, ensuring each meets defined success metrics for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience coordinating or managing IT or business technology projects.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project (or other project scheduling tools) plus strong skills in Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and hit aggressive deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and occasionally facilitating meetings.
- Solid understanding of the full project life cycle and common methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
