UK Health Care Information Technology is seeking two (2) experienced EHR Curriculum Designers / Principal Trainers to support ongoing training, education, and internal project needs beginning the week of January 5, 2026. These resources will focus on developing, revising, and delivering Epic curriculum content, providing virtual training support, and assisting with support ticket resolution. This engagement is expected to run through July 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on organizational need and funding.
Key Responsibilities- Design, revise, and maintain Epic EHR curriculum materials aligned with UK Health Care workflows and standards.
- Deliver virtual training sessions through Microsoft Teams or Zoom, ensuring high-quality and engaging instruction.
- Provide virtual elbow support to end users during go-live periods or key project milestones.
- Triage, manage, and resolve support tickets related to Epic training and user education.
- Support internal IT and operational projects requiring education, curriculum updates, workflow knowledge, or training expertise.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, analysts, and operational leaders to ensure training materials are accurate, up to date, and aligned with best practices.
- Assist with ongoing optimization and enhancement of curriculum content, supporting continuous learning across the organization.
Skills & Qualifications
- Epic Principal Trainer Certification in any application (must be current).
- Strong experience creating and revising EHR training curriculum and classroom/virtual training materials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Captivate.
- Experience delivering training via Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective classroom instruction and virtual support.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Epic Principal Trainer Certification in Clin Doc Orders
- Previous experience supporting healthcare IT training in a large academic medical center or similar environment.
