Westport’s experienced management team, with its state‑of‑the‑art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.

The IT Supervisor supports all technology operations for Westport Axle’s Louisville facility, ensuring system reliability, security, and efficiency across production, logistics, and office environments. This role provides hands‑on technical leadership, supervises local IT support, and coordinates with Universal’s corporate IT team to align systems and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT operations, provide technical guidance, and oversee local IT staff and vendors.
• Maintain network, server, and end‑user systems to ensure uptime and security compliance.
• Manage user access, helpdesk requests, and technology assets across the site.
• Support production floor technology, ERP connectivity, and data accuracy initiatives.
• Execute local IT projects, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of IT experience; 1+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics environments preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
