We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer to support Humana Inc.'s IT environment as part of a staff augmentation engagement focused on Isilon Services. The consultant will provide engineering and architecture services under the direction of the client, contributing to the delivery of technical solutions and documentation within a defined scope and timeline.

• Provide onsite and remote infrastructure administration and support.
• Ensure continuous operation through troubleshooting, proactive planning, maintenance, and monitoring of critical IT systems included in the technology skills section.
• Assess, create, and maintain detailed systems documentation, topology diagrams, procedures, and other standard IT processes, if required.
• Evaluate and make recommendations for improvements to IT platforms, architecture, and capabilities to ensure appropriate service levels, performance, and cost of ownership is achieved.
• Attend any project kick-off meetings and regularly scheduled project status meetings that either you are a named resource for or may impact an affected area of supported operations.
• Assist in review of designs with manufacturers in their technical discipline(s).
• Verify accuracy of parts / licensing list against any new project or initiative requirements.
• Lead or assist in implementing technology discipline solutions.
• Work with Trace3 Project Management to provide status and report on any project related deliverables / milestones or any support requests.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Proven experience in IT consulting, preferably in enterprise storage systems (e.g., Dell EMC Isilon).
• Strong background in systems architecture and engineering.
• Ability to work independently and follow client direction.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience working in hybrid environments (onsite and remote).
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and change management processes.

• Experience with Dell EMC Isilon or similar scale-out NAS platforms.
• Knowledge of data backup, disaster recovery, and storage optimization.
