Position Overview:As a Webmaster at Galen College of Nursing, you will serve as the owner and administrator of Galen’s website (galencollege.edu), ensuring it reflects our brand, supports student recruitment, and delivers a seamless experience for prospective students, current students, alumni, and communities across the country. This role is central to maintaining a high-functioning, accessible, and strategically aligned web presence aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:- 5+ years of experience in website management
- Proficiency with Word Press
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SEO, and UX principles.
- Prefer experience in web development using PHP code base.
- Understanding of strategic and technical implications of Large Language Models and how to leverage these tools effectively
- Experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, and optimization tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz).
- Understanding of ADA compliance, privacy regulations (FERPA, HIPAA awareness), and web security standards.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong team spirit and positive attitude who is a cultural addition to the team, representing our iCARE values
- Experience supporting a performance marketing environment
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua
- Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite
