Onsite IT Support Technician at NSC Global

Role Overview

This is an onsite IT support role ideal for candidates with experience in end user computing. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues at the customer location, helping users resolve hardware and software problems and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation.

Responsibilities
  • Support end‑user devices, including Windows 11, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
  • Configure iPhone devices and manage Intune enrollment
  • Use Team Viewer for remote assistance
  • Provide excellent communication and troubleshooting support
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, VPN)
  • Create Windows 11 images
  • Support local and network printer functionality
  • Manage Active Directory accounts and permissions
  • Support Microsoft Teams usage
  • Maintain IT asset inventory records
  • Support thermal printers and handheld scanners
  • Set up video‑conferencing equipment
  • Record and track incidents in Service Now
  • Provide IT support in a plant environment

NOTE: Wearing of steel‑toed shoes required.

Qualifications Technical Skills
  • Good understanding of PC and printer hardware
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with standard office applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, VPN)
  • Experience with ticketing tools such as Service Now
Non‑Technical Skills
  • Strong customer‑service mindset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a hands‑on working style
Additional Qualifications
  • Technical college diploma or equivalent in computer science or related field
  • A+ Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • OEM certifications (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Lexmark, IBM) are an advantage and may be required depending on assignment
