• Monitor the health, performance, and availability of applications, services, and infrastructure across enterprise environments.
• Support production systems by investigating incidents, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolution activities.
• Participate in incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA) processes.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards, monitoring alerts, and reliability metrics.
• Define, track, and report on Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
• Identify recurring issues and drive automation initiatives to eliminate manual operational tasks.
• Support capacity planning and performance optimization efforts.
• Assist in implementing reliability engineering practices, including resiliency testing, failover validation, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Maintain operational runbooks, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
• Participate in on-call support and incident response activities as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR).

• Exposure to or foundational knowledge of supporting enterprise applications, infrastructure, or cloud environments.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, alerting, and observability concepts.
• Understanding of incident management and production support processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and system performance data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Learn how engineering and automation are used to improve system reliability, scalability, and resilience.
• Participate in reliability initiatives, incident investigations, and root cause analysis that directly impact customer experience.
• Develop foundational skills in cloud technologies, automation, and Site Reliability Engineering practices used by leading technology organizations.

• Understand Site Reliability Engineering principles and best practices.
• Learn concepts of availability, resilience, scalability, and performance.
• Gain familiarity with SLIs, SLOs, and SLA measurements.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis activities.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and corrective action tracking.
• Assist in identifying recurring reliability issues.
• Gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms and monitoring tools.
• Develop introductory scripting and automation skills.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation.
• Be ready to transition into an Associate SRE role supporting reliability, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
