Supply Chain Manager
LHH is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located near Louisville, KY. This is an opportunity to lead and optimize a complex, multi-site supply chain operation for a growing organization with long-term stability. You will guide purchasing, planning, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance while strengthening analytics, accountability, and operational execution. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

*** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead purchasing, planning, inventory control, scheduling, logistics, and warehouse operations across multiple facilities.
• Convert approved demand plans into actionable purchasing, inventory, material, and production schedules.
• Establish supplier strategies improving cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness, and supply continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, reviews, corrective actions, and risk assessments.
• Ensure material availability while proactively addressing supply, capacity, quality, and logistics constraints.
• Improve inventory turns, accuracy, working capital, material availability, and customer service levels.
• Maintain ERP/MRP planning parameters, safety stocks, reorder points, lead times, and master data.
• Develop dashboards supporting executive visibility, accountability, and data-driven business decisions.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, carrier performance, freight costs, and delivery execution.
• Partner with operations, finance, quality, engineering, and commercial leadership across multiple locations.
• Develop contingency plans for critical suppliers, materials, transportation, and potential supply disruptions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives strengthening material flow, planning discipline, and operational reliability.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and hold supply chain team members accountable for performance.
• Present supply chain risks, recommendations, priorities, and performance results to executive leadership.
• Travel to company facilities, suppliers, customers, and business partners approximately 20% of the time.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field is preferred
• Minimum of 7+ years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing organization is required
• Must possess 3+ years of leadership experience managing a supply chain and/or purchasing department
• Must have experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems, dashboards, and analytics to guide business decisions
• Ideal candidates will have experience within high-mix, low-volume, customized manufacturing environments.
• Ideal candidates will have experience supporting formal S&OP and demand-planning processes.
• Ideal candidates will have experience managing supplier performance, negotiations, sourcing, and corrective actions.
• Must demonstrate strong business acumen and executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Must possess collaborative leadership, sound judgment, urgency, accountability, and structured problem-solving abilities.
