Operations Supervisor - Distribution

As an Operations Supervisor at DHL Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouses. Your responsibilities include implementing processes to optimize warehouse operations, guiding frontline associates, fostering a safe and productive work environment, and driving overall success. This position offers a significant opportunity to impact DHL Supply Chain's reputation as a global leader in contract logistics.

With over 500 facilities and more than 50,000 associates, DHL Supply Chain North America operates in over 150 million square feet of warehouse space.

Job Description:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of frontline associates by providing coaching, guidance, and support, while fostering an inclusive team culture.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations proactively, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to track performance, provide reports, and recommend improvements.
  • Encourage open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
Required

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • 1+ years of operations experience in a supervisory or management role (preferred).
  • 1+ years of logistics industry experience (preferred).
  • Skills in staff management, workload planning, and organizational tasks (preferred).
